Counselling in Glossop
Hello, I’m Sarah Bagshaw, I am a qualified counsellor and counselling supervisor, registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
My core training is in person centred therapy, but I also have some training in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), compassion focused therapy (CFT), solution focussed brief therapy (SFBT) and counselling for domestic abuse.
My work with my clients is to help them process and understand their feelings about themselves, other people, or events they have experienced. Ultimately, to help them find a way to feel better. This may involve an acknowledgement and acceptance of who they are or what has happened to them. It may also involve strategies to more effectively manage presenting issues such as anxiety, low mood, poor self-esteem, overthinking, people pleasing etc.
