Jo graduated from Salford university in 2004 and specialized in orthopaedics and musculoskeletal physio for 10 years. It was working with women struggling with pregnancy related musculoskeletal problems that got me interested in women’s health physiotherapy, and I have since trained with the POGP (pelvic obstetrics and gynaecology physiotherapy) and am now clinical specialist in women’s health. My special interests are managing pelvic organ prolapse and chronic pelvic pain, but I treat a number of issues –

I also offer support for women from 8 weeks after giving birth (vaginal or C-Sestion), my post-partum check is a comprehensive assessment looking at gait, posture, abdominal muscle recovery and a complete pelvic floor assessment.
